Pivot is the leading national database for funding opportunities and includes a central repository of funding announcements from domestic and international agencies, foundations, and associations. Its robust interface allows for exceptionally detailed and fine-tuned searching as well as individually saved search results with personalized funding alerts. Pivot also has an expertise database that allows users to create a public profile and view other researchers’ profiles.
Francois Botha, PhD
Francois Botha, PhD holds two degrees in chemistry from the University of the North-West in South Africa, and a PhD in materials science from the University of Bath in England. He brings diverse corporate, government and academic experience to his position, including experience in development and implementation of strategic research and business development initiatives in the energy and biofuels sectors. In addition to providing broad-ranging proposal development support across all sponsors and mechanisms, he has primary responsibility for the Department of Energy, USDA, and NASA.
