Postdocs are eligible to take advantage of the Employee Education Program (EEP) which allows them to waive tuition on courses they wish to take.

Applying for the Employee Education Program (EEP) as a Postdoc

For graduate courses, there are 2 independent components that need to be completed to take advantage of the EEP as a postdoc (for undergraduate courses, please contact the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs). These 2 components can be completed simultaneously:

  1. Apply to the Graduate School as a post-baccalaureate student (deadline: 1 month prior to when classes begin) and register for courses
  2. Fill out the EEP form and submit to the Benefits Office in HR (deadline: found here)

Please note that Graduate-level waivers in excess of $5,250 per calendar year are subject to tax as mandated by IRS.
